Gus M. Scott

Associate Attorney

Gus Scott is a Southwest Missouri native from Golden City. A first-generation college graduate, Gus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri. After receiving his Bachelor's degree, Gus attended law school at the University of Missouri on a full ride scholarship, where he earned the coveted position as a member of the Missouri Law Review, and was separately recognized for his excellence in Contract Drafting. 

Upon graduating from law school, Gus began his career as an attorney at Neale & Newman, LLP where he successfully represented multiple clients at trial and formed and developed companies for people in Southwest Missouri. Gus's experience in both litigation and transactional law provides a unique understanding of a breadth of legal issues, ensuring thorough and effective representation for his clients. While Gus excels in, and enjoys, the academic portion of the law, Gus finds his relationship with his clients are what makes him passionate about being a lawyer. Gus enjoys making deep and meaningful connections with his clients to help guide them through complex legal issues. Outside of work, Gus enjoys exercising, playing guitar, and cheering on his beloved Missouri Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals.
